It is extremely simple, 100% all natural, and it will leave your skin silky smooth and your mind clear. The Base for these DIY Bath Salts is 3 very simple ingredients, that are probably already in your kitchen.
Epsom salt is the main ingredient of a lot of bath products because of it’s benefits. When Epsom salt is absorbed into the skin it works to relieve muscle tension as well as pain and inflammation in the joints. It is truly a miracle worker.
Sea salt is another one of God’s natural miracle workers. It works wonders for your skin and body whenever it is absorbed through the skin. First and foremost it detoxifies the body, ridding it of the toxins. It soothes and relaxes your muscles and joints. It is also antibacterial so it will cleanse and help heal any cuts you may have. It also has been said to be help dry skin. Truly a miracle worker ladies.
Baking Soda is our 3 main ingredient. It is a powerful natural detoxifying ingredient. It can rid your body of even the most stubborn of toxins, like nicotine and alcohol. It also soothes and relieves inflammation and irritated skin.
Although are 3 main ingredients are top of the line and hard to beat the last one adds the love. Pomegranate, in order to add this fruit to the bath salts I used some pomegranate English tea. All the ingredients are all natural in the tea. I used 16 cup size tea bags. Pomegranate has some awesome benefits for your skin as well. It has some amazing anti-aging benefits. It helps with collagen production which keeps your skin from sagging. We ladies can always use anything that can help with sagging!! It also has amazing antioxidant and anti-bacterial properties.
When you mix these 4 powerful ingredients together you get an amazing DIY Bath Salt soak that will RELAX you. But silently do some amazing stuff to help you continue looking young and refreshed. So I’ll stop talking about all the amazingness of it and tell you how you can make this fabulous Pomegranate Bath Salt.
Pomegranate DIY Bath Salts
Prep Time: 5 min
1 cup of Epsom Salt
1/2 cup Baking Soda
1/2 cup Sea Salt
16 Pomegranate English Tea Bags
Go ahead and cut open your 16 tea bags. Place the tea leaves in a bowl. Add the rest of your ingredients, Epsom salt, baking soda, and sea salt. Mix them together well. Store them in a cute air tight container. I used a mason jar. You can keep them at room temperature for a few months. Beware if they get wet they will stick together. Add a few tablespoons to your bath for a relaxing soak.
Seriously Moms, take a break, put the kids to bed, send them to grandma’s house. Run your bath, add a few spoon fulls of the Pomegranate DIY Bath Salts and relax. Take a deep breath, stop thinking about everything you have to do, refresh yourself.
