No Need For Plates, it’s a Cajun Shrimp Boil
Gather all your friends and family around the picnic table for this Cajun Favorite!!
This one pot dish has been a Southern Tradition for a long time. It’s the dish that brings family and friends to gather around the table. After boiling all the 5 ingredients together, drain the water, throw some newspaper on the picnic table and then dump your pot out. Everyone will join together for some a Cajun Shrimp Boil and good conversation. Your table will become an awesome mirage of food, laughter, and a great time. Plus, it is so simple and clean up is minimal, so grab some friends and fill your picnic table.
Cajun Shrimp Boil Recipe:
Prep: 2 minutes
Cook: 30 Minutes
1 lb Smoked Sausage
1 lb Shrimp cooked or raw
1.5 lbs baby red potatoes
1 pack of 12 green giant corn on the cob nibblers
1 bag Zatarain’s Crawfish, shrimp & crab boil
Large Stock pot, don’t have one you can get one here.
Fill your large stock pot full of water. Put your Zatarain’s seasoning bag in the water and get it boiling. Once your water is boiling add your potatoes and corn. Continue boiling for 20 minutes or until potatoes are soft. After 10 minutes add your sausage. Wait 5 minutes then add your shrimp. Cook for another 5 minutes, drain your water. Put newspaper on your table and dump out your Cajun Shrimp Boil! Dig In!!
